The sensor monitors tilt, rotation, speed and force and transmits that data to the modulator.

The sensor is powered by a CR2032 3 volt battery. It has a operation time of approximately 10 hours continuous.
The sensor has a battery save mode where after 5 minutes of no detected motion, it will turn itself off.
